01) Hi Fabio. I was quite confused when first time I contacted you and you've told me that the Eden Beast split up. Tell me what has happen? Why did you come up with such decision?
Eden beast split up because we had many problem to find a new drummer, after Fasa joined another band. We stopped our activity for 2 years, after this other problem among members of the band let eden beast split up.
02) But as far I know you haven't been without a band long and you play in other one. Few words about the new addiction.
Now I play in another band, a death metal band called Cannibal Giant. But i'm not guitarist, I play another instrument: drums. We have recorded a new sick album, we are very proud of this cd!
03) After 3 demos and an EP you finally had you debut album out through Amputated Vein Records. How do you see that co-operation through the fact that some time has passed?
Masakatsu is great man and Amputated is a fantastic label. if our music is known worldwide thanks to them.
04) Music that has been recorded for 'Passivity Causes Genocide' can be only described only as sick and twisted Brutal Death Metal with some Slam and Grind elements. I guess today your new band has different approach to music but back then was it the attempt to be as much brutal as possible? Where the inspirations and ideas came from?
Cannibal Giant are very sick and old school. Eden beast music was a set of four minds, four influences ( brutal, prog, doom, grind). I'm very proud to had founded eden beast!
05) As many or even most bands from that genre produces perverted gory erotic sick stories in lyrics you did stick to something more oryginal mostly based on mass genocide and collapsing the whole human world. Are you so much disgusted with humans and their actions that the main concept of the album was focused on caused extincion by certain end?
We are disgusted by all Human Things, We are virus, we can't save the world if we continue to destroy and pollute.
06) Also do you think that passivity can cause genocide? Would like to know your opinion about the title you used.
All lyrics are made by the singer, Sirio,but I think that who believe in this world have to fight to preserve and save it.
07) What about the intro and the outro on the album where a guy is panicing on phone about some aliens and UFO creatures? Was it just a joke to be placed there or more like a warning that there is something out there?
Ufo Was an interesting matter of singer and bassist that are more informed about Ufo. I believe that the most dangerous enemy is man himself.
08) How did look song writting process in Eden Beast where the song structures look very advanced with skills?
The songs was written togheter with other members. I came in studio with many riff, bassist and drummer put their ideas, and singer help us to find a good vocal riff. Was a very good work.
09) Also there was a lot of shit talks about your founder drummer to be a part of commercialised emo-band. Was it true? Why he stick to that shit? Just money?
Yes our drummer and friend Fasa joined a emo-rock band, for money but also to make a good experience 'cause he wants to pursue a career in music. In italy the only way is play with a pop band, or italian folk band ( liscio) death metal is very underground.
10) Are there any chances for bringing back the Eden Beast back to life?
I think no..I'm very sad, because i founded Eden many years ago, and was my life for many years. But the personal relationships have been ruined.
11) In any other occasion I would ask you for plans for the future but the band is dead... So maybe any brutal and sick shit from Italy that is less known and you would strongly recommand it?
Cannibal Giant hehe.. i recommand Septycal Gorge, Eisen, Blasphemer, Natron, Blessed Death and a great band of prog- brutal called Icon of Sin, good friends and great musician.
